L’Aps In.Nova Fert bandisce una call for scores per composizioni originali e inedite, non reperibili online e non eseguite al di fuori degli ambienti del Conservatorio. I lavori selezionati saranno eseguiti dall’In.Nova Fert Ensemble nel dicembre 2023 all’interno della rassegna “UltimaMusica: musiche inaudite di questo (ed altri) secoli” del Museo Internazionale e Biblioteca della Musica di Bologna.

La call for score è aperta a compositori e compositrici di età inferiore ai 40 anni appartenenti a qualsiasi nazionalità. Ciascun partecipante potrà inviare non più di due partiture. Saranno ammesse composizioni di durata massima di 12 minuti composte per un ensemble da 2 a 5 strumenti scelti tra i seguenti:

• Flauto (anche flauto contralto e ottavino);
• Clarinetto (anche clarinetto basso)
• Oboe (anche Corno Inglese)
• Fisarmonica
• Pianoforte

Le partiture saranno eseguite senza direttore, con l’eccezione dei lavori che impiegheranno l’organico completo. Non è ammesso l’impiego dell’elettronica.
La giuria, composta dal direttivo dell’associazione In.Nova Fert e dai membri dell’In.Nova Fert Ensemble, selezioneranno fino a un massimo di 3 pezzi. La giuria si riserva di selezionare un numero minore di pezzi qualora non giudicasse adeguate le partiture ricevute; si riserva altresì di menzionare ulteriori partiture considerate meritevoli di attenzione, che potranno essere inserite in futuro nella programmazione dell’Ensemble. I giudizi della giuria sono inappellabili e definitivi.

Le partiture dovranno pervenire anonime entro e non oltre le ore 23:59 del 15/07/2023 all’indirizzo mail callforscores.innovafert@gmail.com. Non è necessario inviare registrazioni audio o video dei brani.

Si richiede ai partecipanti di inviare le partiture senza alcun segno distintivo e tramite un file in formato PDF o simili dal titolo uguale al titolo del brano, nuovamente senza alcuna indicazione dell’autore. Eventuali ulteriori allegati devono essere inviati tramite Google Drive (non Wetransfer o condivisioni con scadenza) e rimanere disponibili fino al termine della valutazione della giuria.

Per partecipare è necessario essere soci dell’Aps In.Nova Fert, il cui tesseramento ammonta ad €10. A questi vanno aggiunti €10 per ogni brano che si vuole sottoporre alla giuria, fino ad un massimo di due. Per tesserarsi e partecipare bisogna dunque compilare la domanda di iscrizione (qui) e spedirla assieme alla ricevuta del pagamento alla mail qui sopra indicata, con la seguente causale: “Quota partecipazione call for scores + tesseramento associativo COGNOME del partecipante”. Gli attuali soci dovranno invece inviare solamente la quota di partecipazione di 10€ per ogni brano.

I risultati della call for score saranno resi noti entro il 30/09/2023 sul sito web www.innovafert.org; i compositori selezionati saranno congiuntamente avvisati tramite mail.

In.Nova Fert Aps (Association for Social Promotion) is announcing a call for scores for original and unpublished compositions that cannot be found online and haven’t been performed outside of academic environments. Selected works will be performed by the In.Nova Fert Ensemble in December 2023 as part of the season “UltimaMusica: musiche inaudite di questo (ed altri) secoli” (“LastMusic: unheard music from this (and other) centuries”) at the International Museum and Library of Music in Bologna (IT).

The call for scores is open to composers under 40 years of age of any nationality. Each participant may submit no more than two scores. Compositions with a maximum duration of 12 minutes will be accepted, composed for an ensemble of 2 to 5 instruments chosen from the following:

• Flute (also alto flute and piccolo);
• Clarinet (also bass clarinet)
• Oboe (also English Horn)
• Accordion
• Piano

Scores will be performed without a conductor, with the exception of full ensemble works. The use of electronics is not permitted.
The jury, composed of the board of the In.Nova Fert Aps and members of the In.Nova Fert Ensemble, will select up to a maximum of 3 pieces. The jury reserves the right to select a fewer number of pieces depending on the suitability of the submissions; it also reserves the right to mention additional scores considered worthy of attention, which may be included in the Ensemble’s programming in the future. The judgments of the jury are final and unappealable.

Scores must be received anonymously no later than 11:59 p.m. (GMT +1) on 07/15/2023 at callforscores.innovafert@gmail.com. It is not necessary to send audio or video recordings of the scores.

Participants are asked to send in anonymous scores. Please do not send in scores with the name of the composer or any form of identification. The title of the file should be the title of the piece. Any additional attachments must be sent via Google Drive and remain available until the jury evaluation is complete. We do not accept files via any other platform i.e. WeTransfer or DropBox.

In order to participate, you will have to be a member of In.Nova Fert Aps. Annual Membership is €10. There is an additional administrative fee of €10 per piece, up to a maximum of two.

Please fill in the application form to apply for membership (if required) in the contact page of our website and then send the material for the call. Current members need only the participation fee of €10 per piece. Proof of payment via a receipt must be submitted along with your application. The following details need to be included in the proof of payment: “Participation fee call for scores + membership card PARTICIPANT SURNAME.”

Results of the call for scores will be announced by 9/30/2023 on the website www.innovafert.org; only selected composers will be notified by email.
